Sunset storm at Mesa Arch in the Canyonland National Park, America. Michael Scott Lees fine art photographic prints for sale

Mesa Arch, Canyonland National Park, Utah, United States - Code: DE6579433MT

Location: Mesa Arch, Canyonland National Park, Utah, United States of America

Code: DE6579433MT

Portfolio Type: “ THE ONE ” Fine Art Portfolio

Mesa Arch is a just a fantastic location, if you get your angles right you can get the sun coming up over the ridge that is visible under the arch and as that sun appears it bounces off the rock wall underneath Mesa Arch and reflects the warm light up onto the underneath of the Mesa Arch. Very cool! I captured what I’ve just described earlier that day. The limitation with Mesa Arch is that photographically that makes it only a morning shot.

But what if your three miles away with your daughters checking out another location very late in the afternoon when a storm comes out of know where and drops copious amounts of rain and wind on you and you end up back at the car and saying to yourself well what now. Luckily I got the bright idea of going to Mesa Arch car park wait till the rain dissipates and then go check out Mesa Arch. What I was banking on was beautiful afternoon light bouncing off the storm clouds and throwing the light down onto Mesa Arch, what I got was that, but so much more, I got a rainbow, sheets of falling rain in the distance and extraordinary light that lite up the distant ranges and everything around me.

I just love it when you get lucky!

  • "The One" Fine Art Portfolio

“The One“ Fine Art Portfolio imagery has an edition size of one, there is only one hand signed print in existence. The image can be reproduced in my Gift Collection product range, but no larger than a 10 x 10inch surface area in size. Gift Collection products, such as the Fine Art Mini print, actively promote the existence of ”The One” imagery and help increase their popularity and potential value. They also act as a preview for customers looking at purchasing ”The One” imagery.

“The One” imagery is printed on the most archivally stable media at the time, but they can be reprinted onto a different media or to a different size, at any time by the purchaser, once the current print media is destroyed, this ensures that there is only one print in existence at any one time. Being able to reprint the image at any time overcomes the issues of fading, as all artworks fade, and of accidental damage. This enables “The One” imagery to be passed down through countless generations. For further information on "The One" Fine Art Portfolio see this link below “The Different Portfolio’s”.
